Privacy Policy
How Zayroq collects, uses, protects, and gives you control over information processed through our email deliverability platform.
Last updated: August 17, 2026
1. Scope and contact
This Privacy Policy applies to Zayroq's websites, applications, email deliverability testing, seed inbox monitoring, integrations, reports, and related services. Zayroq is responsible for the processing described here. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to support@zayroq.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect account and contact information, service configuration, billing and transaction records, support communications, device and usage information, and cookies or similar technologies needed to operate and secure the service. When you run a deliverability test, we may process test-message content, sending and recipient addresses, message identifiers, timestamps, delivery and authentication headers, DNS records, sending infrastructure data, mailbox folder placement, and related diagnostic results.
3. Yahoo and AOL seed mailbox data
Zayroq connects only to Yahoo or AOL seed mailboxes that an authorized administrator deliberately adds and authorizes through Yahoo OAuth 2.0. We request read-only mail access and identity information, including the mail-r, openid, email, and profile permissions. We do not request a Yahoo password and do not use this connection to send mail.
4. How seed mailbox scanning works
Zayroq periodically checks configured folders, such as Inbox and Spam, to locate controlled deliverability test messages. During this process, Zayroq may read message and folder identifiers, timestamps, sender and reply-to addresses, subject lines, relevant delivery and authentication headers, and HTML or plain-text content needed to identify and evaluate a test message. Messages are matched using Zayroq test identifiers. Messages that do not match an authorized test are not used to create reports, advertising profiles, or audience segments.
5. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the service; authenticate users; connect and monitor authorized seed mailboxes; identify Inbox, Spam, other-folder, or Missing placement; generate deliverability, authentication, and content diagnostics; provide customer support; process billing; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain security; comply with law; and enforce our agreements. Yahoo or AOL mailbox data is not used for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or the creation or sale of advertising audiences.
6. Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell Yahoo or AOL mailbox data or disclose it to advertisers or data brokers. Deliverability results are available only to authorized Zayroq personnel and the customer associated with the applicable test. We may use contracted infrastructure and service providers for hosting, database storage, security, logging, communications, payment processing, and service operation. They may process limited information only to provide services to Zayroq, subject to contractual confidentiality, security, and use restrictions. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Legal bases and international processing
Where applicable, we process information to perform a contract, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing Zayroq, comply with legal obligations, and act with consent where consent is required. Information may be processed in countries other than the one where it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Retention
We retain account information while an account is active and as needed for legitimate business, security, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes. Test messages, diagnostic data, and reports are retained according to the customer's plan, account settings, and operational requirements, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. OAuth tokens are retained only while the mailbox connection remains authorized or as needed to complete revocation and security records. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted network transport, encryption of stored mailbox credentials and OAuth tokens, logging, and restricted administrative access. No system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and mailbox controls
An authorized administrator can disconnect a seed mailbox in Zayroq, which removes it from active polling and prevents continued use of its stored authorization. A Yahoo or AOL account owner can also revoke Zayroq's access through the account's connected-app or security settings. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable by contacting support@zayroq.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.
11. Regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or California, you may have additional privacy rights. Zayroq does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may contact support@zayroq.com to exercise applicable rights or appeal a decision concerning a request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
12. Children
Zayroq is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Zayroq and applicable requirements evolve. We will post the revised policy here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change is material.
